CATCH TSEBIYAH AS TYBALT, LADY CAPULET AND friar laurence in hypokrit theater’s queer imagining of romeo & juliet!
On january 2, 2015, our dear friend and brother cjay was shot randomly in his jamaica, queens neighborhood. He was on his way to vocal workshop. Cj, a talented, lively singer and dancer is now paralyzed. He has been approved for stem cell surgery in Panama, and is now raIsIng the $45,000 necessary for the groundbreaking procedure.
On August 4th at 7pm, our community MADE a stand with “a Song For Life: A Sing Out Against Violence.” This benefit concert, streamed internationally, will spotlight organizations and individuals working to fight gun violence, and raise the funds necessary to get Cjay dancing and singing again.
